Moss and Mango.

I saw the first photograph while sifting through images of a recent ad campaign for Mango's A/W 2010 collection. It immediately reminded me of a look Kate Moss rocked a few years ago. She would wear fantastic wide leg Chloe jeans, a tucked in sweatshirt, and some cool belt. It was photographed a lot and it was one of my all time favorite looks of hers. I guess Mango liked it too.

My clogs.

I just saw this shot from the Sartorialist and laughed. I've had those shoes for years.  I never thought they were the "coolest" but that's what I loved about them.  I even have them in brown.  I've never seen anyone else rock the Dansko clogs but she does it well. The colorful socks are awesome.  I think my love for the Sartorialist just went up a few notches.

Zara tweed.

I picked this coat up from Zara a few weeks ago.  The tweed is a nice change up from the regular black, and I love the menswear feel.

Bathtub.

I think this is such a beautiful execution of showcasing jewelry. The water and light compliment the pieces perfectly. You often see very glamorous setups for these campaigns, so something as simple as a plain bathtub is refreshing and unique to me.

Black and white.

This felt like an appropriate shot given the past few days in Toronto. I love the contrast between the hair and the all black ensemble. The backpack is rad, and yes, I love the braid.

Kittens.

This is such a fantastic mix of texture and prints. It took me a second to notice the kittens on the pants. I love how unexpected they are.

The creative styling here is fantastic, but what I love most about this outfit, is how confident she looks wearing it.

Lou.

Lou is a new sweater line from one of my all time favorite sites La Garconne. I love how simple they are. It's the perfect blend of a boyish look with the right feminine cut.

Goldilocks.

I love the loose braid with the boyish layers. She looks super cool and super comfortable.

I understand the fashion world needs to be ahead of the game, but it is always a small torture being introduced to the spring/summer collections while the temperatures drop. Especially ones that look as rad as this one.

Black Swan.

I saw Black Swan on Friday and this shot (above) immediately reminded me of it.  There has been a lot of attention paid to the dramatic costumes which were designed by Rodarte, but I didn't know they had also designed most of the knitwear worn off stage.  The shrugs, leg/arm warmers, and wrap-over cardigans, although simple, to me were just as eye catching.  I can see myself investing in a pair of leg warmers or a shrug more so than a big black feather swan jacket, which I did see at Topshop yesterday in case you're interested.

Bling.

I'm not usually a nail gal, but I love this.  It's a refreshing change from the typical black or red. I don't have the patience for rhinestones but Sephora has a polish that might do the trick.

Alexa Chung

I really dig Alexa Chung.  Her charisma and free spirited approach to fashion is so fantastic.  She cracks me up in this piece.

Cozy.

I could take a nap in this dress. I love the neckline. It adds the perfect hint of sexy to something that otherwise would look just plain comfortable.

There is a lot to love in these shots, but the boots are where my eyes went first.  The lace ups are especially killer.

Blazer.

I tried on this blazer at H&M last week. I was looking for something pink and dressy. It hadn't occurred to me to dress it down as seen here. I might just have to go back and grab it.

The braid, the scarf, the plaid, even the hair elastic. I love everything in this shot.

Both of these shirts are super cool but I love how vibrant the plaid is.  I'm having to resist going out to buy my umpteenth one.

I'm amazed at how modern this photo feels. The jacket is so great and I love that you can see her wool socks. She looks just plain cool.

Her up-do is what I like the most here. The centre part in her hair gives the look such a sweet and delicate feel.  Perfect combination.

One of my favorite Sartorialist shots. Such a wonderful celebration of individual style.

Paolo Roversi's point of view.

Roversi's photos are all unique to one another but his wonderful approach to style is what ties each one together.
