Our Amish roots.

I stumbled across these images while sifting through old Vogue editorials. I was amazed at some of the similarities in these photos and recent style shots. Yes, fashion often draws inspiration from the past and perhaps our current economic state has people inspired by looks of "simpler living", but still, I had no idea we had such Amish roots in Vogue.
